I Have to Replace my Batteries in my Calculator

Early this week in my chemistry class I noticed that the battery level on my calculator was running low. I rarely use it throughout the week so after the class I completely forgot about swapping the dying batteries out. It was not until I brainstormed ideas for this sketch that I realized how I could utilize my calculator and batteries for my three-dimensional object. As I began to doodle around, I chose to the most important and noticeable aspects of the calculator. Each detail that I incorporated, contributed to the realness of the sketch. I wanted to make my sketch appear as if I could actually grasp it from the paper and place my batteries in it.
